Policy

U.S. Government Documents Collection

The College of Law Library is a selective depository library of the Depository Library Program of the U.S. Government Printing Office. Documents are accessible online produced by the Government Printing Office and other federal agencies.

Federal documents are maintained in accordance with 44 USC 1901-1916, Instructions to Depository Libraries, Administrative Notes, and other rules and regulations issued by the U.S. Congress Joint Committee on Printing and/or the Superintendent of Documents.

Per agreement between the Jacksonville University Libraries (Swisher Library and College of Law Library), access to federal depository publications is available at the Law Library (76 S. Laura Street, 19th Floor, Office 18-024, Jacksonville, FL 32202).

Access to Electronic Documents

Electronic documents can be located by utilizing the resources in the FDLP Basic CollectionPublic access to electronic government documents is available utilizing select catalog computers. Electronic documents can be located by utilizing the resources in the FDLP Basic Collection. Printing is not available to the public.
