The Library's research guides are the best place to begin your research journey. Research guides are subject-specific and curated by our librarians to house the most relevant resources to get you started with research.
Use our citation guides to help you cite your sources correctly.
Looking for a citation manager? The Library offers access to RefWorks.
The Library has a variety of spaces and rooms suitable for all types of studying.
You can find group study rooms on the lower level and individual study rooms on the main and upper levels of the Library. Each room has a whiteboard available. For access to a study room, bring your JU ID to Circulation to check out a key. Users are encouraged to review study room policies before checking one out.
The Library has ample tables, soft seating, moveable whiteboards, and collaborative tables with technology for group study. Whiteboard markers and erasers may be checked out at Circulation.
Dedicated quiet spaces are located on the upper level.
Our course reserves collection is a collection of class textbooks and readings provided by professors. Materials in this collection are checked out for use within the library for short periods of time. Course reserves are available during staffed library hours.
Printing and copying is available in the IT-maintained computer lab on the main level of the Library.
Students are able to print 50 black-and-white pages for free each fall and spring semester. Printing credits are loaded automatically to your Dolphin Card at the start of the term. Once you've exhausted your printing credits, you will automatically be charged for additional printed pages ($0.09/page for black-and-white prints, $0.50/page for color prints). Please note that unused credits will not roll over into subsequent semesters.
Users can pay for prints using Dolphin Dollars. The Library does not accept any other form of payment for printing and copying.
