Dissertation and Thesis Policy

This policy is meant to provide guidance to the graduate students at Jacksonville University. This policy has been created due to the expansion of the graduate program offerings at Jacksonville University.

It is intended to provide information in regards to submitting theses, dissertations, or final projects to Swisher Library repositories.

Upon department approval or by the end of the student’s graduating term the student must submit their thesis, dissertation, or final project to repository@ju.edu to be uploaded on behalf of the student to Jacksonville University’s institutional repository and second repository specified by department.

Procedure:

  • Graduate students must submit their department accepted and approved document in pdf format by email to repository@ju.edu. The approved pdf documents must be the final copy, free of any reviewers comments or markings in the margins.
  • Graduate students with video components to their thesis must submit it to the JU Institutional Repository via a valid YouTube link.

  • In the event that revisions have been made to the document, the new document must be resubmitted.
