Welcome! The Swisher Library is a great place for students to work and we're excited to have you on board.
Library student workers assist with a variety of activities: shelving items, maintaining stacks, staffing the circulation desk, working with librarians and library staff on special projects, and more. Working at Swisher Library at JU not only gives students the opportunity to see how an academic library works, but each student assistant will gain work experience and skills that can transfer to just about any profession. Plus, working at the library gives students an opportunity to learn about all of the resources available to them in their academic career…and tell their friends!
