Does the library accept donations?
The library accepts donations from JU and the surrounding community that meet the guidelines of our gift policy.
What items does the library accept?
Generally, the library accepts items that are current (not outdated), in good condition, and relevant to the university’s curriculum. For more details, see the library’s gift policy.
Can I donate my textbooks at the end of the semester?
The library is happy to accept your textbook donations. As the library does not add current textbooks to its collection, textbooks may be donated to literacy-focused organizations.
Can I have a tax receipt for my donation?
The library can provide a donation acknowledgement form acknowledging the number of items received. The library does not appraise or assign value to donations.
Can the library pick up my donation?
The library is currently unable to pick up donations.
