MyJU doesn't recognize my username and/or password. What do I do?

If you have entered your JU username and password into MyJU and can't get in, look at the following questions to guide you in getting access.

  • Are you entering your JU username?

Sometimes users mistakenly enter their JU email address here. Check to make sure that you are ONLY entering your JU username. (Example: library1 and NOT library1@jacksonville.edu)

  • When is the last time you updated or changed your password?

You may need to update/change your password with MyJU

  • Is your browser using a saved password that is no longer the current password?

Type in your password in the password field to ensure you're using the most up-to-date password.

  • Do you have cookies enabled on your browser?

You must have cookies enabled for authentication. If you're not sure how to do this, visit our Browsers & Cookies page.

I’m trying to access the library’s resources from a hospital, military, or government computer, but I’m not successful. What can I do?

If you are attempting to access the library's resources from a hospital, military or government computer, there may be a secure firewall in place that prevents you from using the library's proxy server. If this is the case, please try accessing from a less secure area or from your smartphone, if possible.

If you are still experiencing problems, you may need to contact your help desk or IT staff to see if your firewall can be adjusted to allow you to access the library's proxy server.
