Distance learners and faculty must comply with all the library policies and procedures regarding the use of Interlibrary Loan services. Distance learners and faculty may request electronic resources via the library’s online platform. Requests must comply with copyright laws and adhere to the library’s borrowing policies. They must utilize electronic resources for personal academic use only and may not be shared or distributed to others. Requests for ebooks will not be processed because of copyright laws. The learner may, however, request specific pages or chapters using the ILL Request Form. You will receive an email with access to the requested item.
Distance learners and faculty may request physical materials owned by the Swisher Library. An email will be sent to notify that the items are ready for pick up at the Swisher Library. The requestor is responsible for picking up and returning those items to the Swisher Library by the due date. The items will be placed on a 15-day hold period, if approved, to allow for retrieval.
