Interlibrary Loan

ILLs are processed within 4 days during the regular academic year.  Scheduled closures due to holidays and campus closures can be found in the OCLC Polices Directory.  Unplanned closures due to illness or emergencies (such as hurricane events) may or may not be reflected in the OCLC Policies Directory. 

We do not currently support rush orders, but we do our best to ensure that all requests are responded to in a timely manner.  We are currently a 4 day lender for both loans and copies in OCLC WorldShare ILL.

For physical loans:

The DLLI/TBLC courier is the preferred shipping method within Florida, and USPS library rate is used for out-of-state loans.  We cannot provide additional insurance on mailed items, or ship through other providers.

For copy requests:

Copies are generally sent via Article Exchange or email.  Other methods may be used based on licensing restrictions, and prior warning will be given through a “conditional” response in OCLC WorldShare ILL.
