If you realize you need more time with an item, you can request a renewal via email with the title and current due date of the item as well as your desired new due date. All requests must be made at least a week before the due date. Once a renewal has been approved or denied, you will receive an email with your new due date, and your account will be automatically updated.
Renewals are at the discretion of the library that loaned us the item. Some lenders do not allow renewals. Lending libraries may also ask for their item back (known as recalling) at any time.
