Jacksonville University is proud to be a free lending library for both copies and loans. We appreciate and encourage any reciprocation.
Our standard lending period is 8 weeks, with 4 week renewals possible. We will renew whenever possible, unless there is an increased demand for the item, or it is loaned under special circumstances, such as special collection items. Generally, we will provide copies internationally, and physical loans within the United States. All ILL fulfillments are dictated by applicable copyright law and Fair Use guidelines, and some exceptions apply:
- Electronic copies, including means of delivery, are restricted by their respective licenses.
- We do not provide ebook loans or copies.
- Some collections are considered non-circulating for the purposes of ILL. More information can be found under the "Non-Circulating and Special Collections" tab.
- DVDs are only loaned within Florida, and for half of our normal lending period.
Jacksonville University is a OCLC participant, and we accept requests through WorldShare ILL. Our OCLC symbol is FJU, and all of our policies, scheduled closures, and contact information can be found in the OCLC Policies Directory.
We only provide interlibrary loans through libraries or institutions, and all requests for renewals or information must come through official channels. We do not handle requests through individuals.
