Once activated, you will have access to Lexis Public Records search in Lexis. The guide below provides a step-by-step tutorial on how to access the Public Records search function in Lexis.
Lexis Public Records can only be used to search yourself. Any other search or unauthorized search will result in immediate disabling of Lexis and notification of the violation to the College of Law for further disciplinary action.
This service is just another tool to enable you to find answers to the bar application questions. Do not consider a search to be a "one-stop-shop" for full coverage of your history.
To access Lexis Public Records:
- Go to www.lexisnexis.com/lawschool to log in. Once logged in, click on the “Go to Lexis ...” button/link to the left of the page
- This will bring you to the Research Page. Once in the Research Page, select the "nine-dot-grid" app launcher icon in the upper left hand corner.
- Select the 'Public Records' option from the drop-down menu.
This will open the Lexis Nexis Public Records application in the same browser tab. If you'd like to open it in a new tab please right-click on the link and select Open in a new Tab.
